Hello there! My name's Karli, and I'm a 16-year-old intersex high school junior, freelance writer, and public speaker who likes to dabble in art. I am a lover of psychology, especially that relating to mental and neurological disorders (I plan to major in abnormal psychology and minor in Autism Studies). My interest in neurological disorders stemming from me having recently been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, of which I'd like to better understand. I am a fan of music (I am a singer and a beginner at the Tenor trombone), who especially loves progressive rock, including Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake & Palmer, King Crimson, and Steven Wilson. I am a Star Trek fanatic (TNG, DS9, Voyager, and a little bit of TOS for good measure), and I love tabletop gaming, such as Dungeons and Dragons and Eclipse Phase.

9/17/16 Update (Special Sick Edition!)

Hey, guys! Unfortunately this past week I haven't been able to get much done (in school and out) due to having contracted some sort of virus. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but my throat's been sore and I've had a fever, plus some shared symptoms with the common cold. Having performed in a field show in the rain last night certainly didn't help, and my fever ended up around 102 Fahrenheit. However, I'm feeling a bit better tonight, and my fever's gone down to about 99 degrees. I've basically been binge watching Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space Nine and drinking my weight in tea.
